＜ドル円は…＞
米長期金利の動向を眺め、157円台中心での値動きとなった。NY時間午後にはNY連銀総裁が「9月の連邦公開市場委員会（FOMC）で政策措置（利上げ）を決定したため、性急に行動する必要はない」との見解を示したことで、米長期金利が上げ幅を縮小し、ドル/円は小幅安で引けた。

The market expects the U.S. August PCE price index, due to be released today, to rise 3.7% year-on-year, unchanged from the previous month. Concerns remain strong that persistently high crude oil prices amid the prolonged war in Iran will accelerate U.S. inflation. The Federal Reserve (Fed) is also currently focusing more closely on inflation than on employment conditions in assessing its dual mandate of price stability and maximum employment. Therefore, if the PCE price index comes in above expectations, the dollar is likely to come under buying pressure.
That said, with both Japanese and U.S. authorities expressing concerns over yen depreciation, caution over possible yen-buying intervention remains. If USD/JPY rises into the 158 range, the pair is likely to face increased selling pressure as intervention concerns intensify.
